A Unique Voice in Creative Visual Storytelling

    Art With Substance

Stefan’s canvasses contain a multitude of layers that add depth, conflict and texture. The often violent surface of the painting draws the viewer into the art and provokes further exploration. His use of colour and abstraction creates interesting visual landscapes that provoke and inspire.

  • Abstract mixed media artwork with text 'some iron curtain princess' and 'nobody cares', featuring vibrant colors, textures, and three-dimensional elements.

    Art That Questions

Drawing from a lifelong passion of culture, travel and the arts; Stefan creates work that questions social trends, history and societal expectations. His degree in Media, Culture and Society ignited a passion for subjects such as Sociology, Anthropology and Psychology. Stefan uses visual arts as a means to explore his place in world that is fluid and is in constant flux.

    Art Without Boundaries

Stefan has been involved in photography, music production, music performance and journalism along with painting. Current Projects

Stefan is currently working on a series of paintings inspired by the patient records of 1900’s American Asylums. He is an avid collector of oddities and cultural artefacts and has recently been collecting recovered files from a historian based in New York. His painting, The Horses Wont Stop Dancing for Lizzie and the interest it created has inspired this series of canvases. This series will be an exploration on the stigma’s around mental health and will tell the stories of these forgotten people.

His other series of paintings in progress is titled I Am Not A Role Model. These paintings are a personal reflection on how Stefan views himself as an individual and his deconstruction of societies expectations of individuals and what it means to be human with agency in a world that is becoming more and more disconnected due to conflict and technology.

Stefan continues to work on large scale canvasses and smaller works on paper alongside these more focused projects.
